Hear what a few of our team members have to say!
I have been working at Andrews of Stafford for two and a half years now. Working at Andrews is one of the most rewarding experiences i have had. Starting a new chapter in my life I realized I wanted to help people, in one way or another. Being hired at Andrews was more than I ever imagined.

My first day at Andrews I was welcomed by staff and management as if I was part of a big happy family.  I remember being very nervous that day and realized quickly that Andrews was like a big happy home with a lot of team spirit. After being with Andrews for more than two years I can honestly say that it has not changed. Staff members were eager to make me comfortable and help at any time. The staff also taught me that it is okay to be human and make mistakes. It is a place to learn, grow and see first-hand, changes in residents lives and being able to assist and help residents. To me that is just awesome!

Having been in management myself in the past, I was extremely impressed by the leadership integrity, compassion and open door policy of the management at Andrews. There is professionalism, always, along with lots of smiles and laughter. To me it’s very important to be comfortable enough with the staff to be able to speak freely of concerns or to just have an open ear.

At Andrews I soon found myself looking forward to my next shift. The thought of helping the residents, seeing them smile, and hearing their laughter was fulfilling for me, and quickly became a joy to do every day as opposed to just a job.

Being a caregiver at Andrews has changed my life in many ways, including my attitude and compassion towards seniors.

I always look forward to going home at Andrews, my second family! Penny

I would like to express what a great organization Andrews of Summerside is. I’ve been here for 14 years and have seen first-hand how management and staff work together as a team to care and try to improve the quality of life of our residents. We are so very blessed to have such a great team. Management is always there to listen, guide and educate us. They always stand by us. Andrews has numerous education sessions to help further educate us so we better understand how to care for our residents and give them everything they deserve. Corinne

Since joining Andrews of Parkhill in 2015, I have learned new things. Co-workers have taught me about person centered care and continue to share their knowledge with me. I will always be thankful for the opportunity to grow, not only within the Andrews team but also as an individual. Here’s to continuing my career with Andrews of PEI! Diane

“I have been with Andrews of Parkhill for 11 years in September 2017 on the dietary team and I always put my heart and soul into whatever I have to do. I enjoy coming to work and socializing with my team and the residents. I love to see their faces every day when I come to work, it really makes your day just knowing their families don’t have to worry about them, that they are safe, happy and loved by all of us.

This is not a job for me, it is my extended family. I have a safe place to stay during the storms and the residents are very happy knowing there are people to keep them safe. I am proud to be part of this team, we laugh together, cry together and when things get tough we always pull through together to get things done.” Sharon

I hope everyone is as fortunate as I am in finding such a great job. My position is filling all my needs. To me it is my dream job! Mary

Andrews of Charlottetown was very welcoming and has been very supportive to me in my role. Jackie

I have been employed by Andrews of Parkhill for almost six years. To me, working here is an honor, in the sense that I get to take care of seniors and make their days a little better, a little more comfortable and all with respect and dignity. I love learning from my residents, laughing with them and of course spoiling them. I also work with some of the best co-workers. Together we provide the best possible care for our seniors. Every day we face new challenges and confront them together—that’s what families do and we are one big family at Andrews of Parkhill. Cindy

I have worked at Andrews of Summerside for 10 years and still am very proud to be a part of their team. Management is always available and a vital part of our team. They lead us, guide us and work with us to provide our residents with a better quality-of-life. Many educational sessions and educational updates are continually provided. There is a good benefits package and many opportunities to pursue. The Andrews team consists of many personalities but with the common denominator of working towards happy residents, satisfied families and smiling staff. When I leave work at the end of my shift I look forward to my next shift – and that says something! Come and be a part of our great team! Goldie

Andrews is a fantastic Company to be a part of.The overall team spirit is one of a kind, which reflects in the outstanding day-to-day care provided to all of our residents. I feel blessed to have such an amazing job! Julie
